Modern surprise wedding on a vineyard in Portugal
We love a good surprise wedding and this intimate celebration at the magical Douro region in north Portugal was perfect in every way. The festivities began with a welcome gathering, disguised as a birthday party, but at midnight, as guests sang 'happy birthday', groom Vitor proposed in front of everybody and announced the wedding would take place the following day!
"The reaction of every guest was incredible," explains André Teixeira from wedding planning and photography studio, Brancoprata. "Lots of laughs, happy tears, hugs… everyone was in awe and excited for the next day."
Joana and Vitor wanted to create an unforgettable experience for their closest family and friends, a weekend where they all could relax, enjoy each other’s company and just have fun, in one of the most beautiful places. The team at Brancoprata certainly achieved this and so much more.
